Hi everyone, my Kaspersky only updates once a day, is that correct? It is configured to receive updates automatically, I find it strange, as other antiviruses update the database every 1 hour, can anyone help me?
Yes, it's normal. Kaspersky typically updates its database once a day to ensure optimal performance. However, you can manually update it if needed. The frequency of updates doesn't necessarily reflect the effectiveness of the antivirus.
Antiviruses that relies on database signatures are often updating more frequently to cover new malware, with Kaspersky if it faced a new malware that is not recognizes in the database, it will check it online using Kaspersky Security Network (KSN), so the frequency of updates will not affect your system, (unless you are offline).
Can't the button to create a new thread. only reply. One question as it is related. Will Kaspersky still work after their assets are completely shut down in the USA? I assume it would work since Kaspersky can get the definition somewhere.

the new strategy now is to conduct undemocratic actions in the name of 'democracy' over nothing In today's world, democracy has become an empty cliché. Who's responsible for that? Anyway, good luck to them, they need it.
