Hi harlan4096, useful heads-up. A couple of details are worth flagging before anyone installs these builds:

  • Kaspersky/KSOS 21.28.1.166 (MR28): the announcement lists a clipped first timeline entry, a possible unnamed System-process group in Network Monitor, and no German or French builds. At present, both its “Kaspersky” and “KSOS” download buttons lead to the same folder labelled KSOS; there is also no separate VPN download listed. That looks like a publishing/link error, so verify the installer before using it.
  • KES 14.3.0.166: the release post contains a particularly serious warning: enabling full-disk encryption on a Windows Server 2022 Hyper-V VM can cause the VM to fail. Leave FDE disabled in that setup.

These should be treated strictly as test builds—preferably in disposable or properly backed-up VMs. Use the embedded beta licence rather than a commercial licence, because Kaspersky says commercial licence time consumed during testing will not be restored. Beta defects should go to the beta forum, not regular premium support.
