Improvements and fixes
This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

• Addresses issue where event logs stop receiving events when a maximum file size policy is applied to the channel.
• Addresses issue where printing an Office Online document in Microsoft Edge fails.
• Addresses issue where the touch keyboard doesn’t support the standard layout for 109 keyboards.
• Addresses video playback issues in applications such as Microsoft Edge that affect some devices when playing back video on a monitor and a secondary, duplicated display.
• Addresses issue where Microsoft Edge stops responding for up to 3 seconds while displaying content from a software rendering path.
• Addresses issue where only 4 TB of memory is shown as available in Task Manager in Windows Server version 1709 when more memory is actually installed, configured, and available.
• Security updates to Windows SMB Server, the Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Graphics, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and the Microsoft Scripting Engine.

I'm even holding off from installing this update, I'm waiting for everyone else to tell me if I would be screwed over.

Installed already. So far, everything is working OK.

Installed it automatically last night and so far, everything is fine. In fact I noticed the PC is using less memory after the update. The overall performance is the same as it was before.

No update here yet. Windows says it's up to date. It usually updates a day after everyone. Not sure why. Mine ends in 16299.125 instead of the latest version: 16299.192.

Yes. Fully up to date. I only run EAM and Keyscrambler.
EAM is up to date.
Keyscrambler is saying it is up to date but it hasn't been updated by the vendors since last April.

Update: Someone on Twitter might have the solution. It is said that if you fully disable Windows Defender you won't receive the update. Checking right now.

Nope that's not the issue... I'll just wait.

KIS is up to date currently at 18.0.0.405(f) and required key is also present in the system for this update but still no update.
Any ideas how to get it in windows update? I don't want to go via manual route.

Since Fall CU, I never get any update, unless I reset WU, otherwise it says, that it is updated and when updating manually, it fails and reverts back.

I would be a bit patient until 9th of January. I have an AMD (W10FCU + KTS2019beta) and already got yesterday night the patch, but still my laptop Intel (W10FCU + KTS2018f) no patch and no panic

Manually updated 2 machines, so far so good! They even have different AV suites on them.
