Could someone that has installed this promo version tell me what version it is?

I had already previously installed a promo version of Kingsoft Office Pro and it is still licensed.

My current version is v.9.1.0.4088.

It says it is up to date running the update checker.

Thanks. :D

It's the newest version 9.1.0.4256.
The Update Checker doesn't work on these special installers (dunno if actually works in other versions)
I am happy 'cuz now the newest version can save to Office 2007/2010 files :D

I went ahead and install it over my previous installation and it did update to v.9.1.0.4256 and saved my previous license, so I now have two active license for Kingsoft Office 2013 Pro. I notice the update checker never seems to work with the free version either, I always had to manually download and install the latest version. Something they need to fix, but I haven't experienced any other issues with it and works excellent for myself just as good as Microsoft Office.

I just wonder if I had manually downloaded the latest trial version if my license would have been preserved? Where does it save your license? I'm not able to find the folder.

Thanks. :D

When I saw and post previous Kingsoft Office Pro giveaway I was disappointed that it was not the latest version. I was going to find the licence, uninstall Kingsoft and install the newest version with the same license but I couldn't find where Kingsoft stores the license.
I checked every folder, even searched whole registry with regseeker and I couldn't find it, there is some keys in the registry called Licensing if I can remember right, but there was something that I couldn't figure out what it for what, bunch of numbers not pointing if some of them could imply that was the license key...
I contacted their support as well asking where Kingsoft stores it's license, aaaaand they ignored me politely :D

and yes, I haven't experienced any problem with this Office Suite. I really like it, it has every function what an average user needs. And some advanced tools. It can be compared to Libre/OpenOffice solutions if not with MS Office as well.
I know that with MS you can practically make a movie with PowerPoint but there are other tools for that. I just need to make and edit a document, with or without pictures, links or attachments. Export documents to pdf. It takes ~200mb on the harddisk and it's fast and beautiful. What you need more from the office suite.
There is a Kingsoft Office for Linux, which can edit and save office 2007/2010 files and it's free from the start . It's really great piece of software and I can recommend it to everyone.
They can just implement options to open odt documents for just in case, in the future versions.
