Is Kaspersky Anti Ransomware really needed with Eset Smart Security Premium?
Look who I found as ESET's poster boy… Is that you my friend @RoboMan? Source: ESET LIVEGUARD 15 I think ESET needs to consider image rights 😆😆

Next to Eset for online protection you have added Avira and Malwarebytes browser extensions.
Avira uses a mixpanel tracker (can be seen when using uBlock Origin), I would not use that extension.
Malwarebytes is good but it is really needed with Eset and AdGuard?
Eset Smart Security Premium and Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware is too overkill...
I advise you to leave only Eset.
By the way, if you want to push Eset to the limit, @RoboMan made a tuto with a configuration file
Hello Gandalf_The_Grey, thank you for your reply.
I have made some changes as per your advice.
- Set UAC to always notify
- Remove Avira extensions
I am a bit paranoid, so I feel less safe when using only Eset as my protection. That is why I use Kaspersky Anti Ransomware and Malwarebytes Browser Guard. Regarding full image backup, if something happens, I like to format the Windows instead of restoring from the backup. For my important file, I do not store them on the computer.
Hello @Shadowra@harlan4096
Do you think it is enough to use Eset as protection? Because Eset has no behavioural protection. And I have seen many Eset tests on youtube where Eset could not detect or protect the computer from viruses. Before using Eset, I used Kaspersky, but lately, Kaspersky has made my laptop slow, so that is why instead of using complete Kaspersky protection, I only use Kaspersky Anti Ransomware where it has Kaspersky system watcher.
