You should definitely enable UAC. Also, I recommend adding at least one on demand scanner (i.e. HitmanPro, MBAM, EEK). Moreover, I suggest you add the following addons to Firefox: WOT and HTTPS Everywhere. Finally, If you don'y already use it, install CCleaner to clean your browsing traces and improve your system performance.

My suggestion ia to add a second browser ( besides IE ) chromium based in case you have a problem with Firefox.
