This is my sister's laptop and I am using TeamViewer to do as much as I can. Ran adwcleaner, mbam and hitman, but there are still ads being embedded into websites. They removed a lot of stuff related to this and now the ads are simple embedded squares rather pop-ups and such. The ads appear in Chrome and IE. I couldn't find anything in the program list or extensions list. Since I am doing this remotely, if there's anything that requires booting into safe mode, as long as the instructions are clear enough, I can do it via skype. I've attached the log. Hope someone can find something.
