" The Gentleman Loser "
I tried this recently :-

Local Area Security Audit Tool
lastaudit

I scanned the download with a couple of things and then checked it at VirusTotal .... all clean
Full scan took about half an hour on a W7 test system .... a good little tool !

Nothing earth-shaking but it gives a comprehensive snap-shot of your system .

One for the " toolbox " maybe .... it's portable too !

Edit - I should add that it puts the report that it generates in the same folder you ran it from.

Never tried it, have heard of similar products, but not this one.
Who publishes it ?
Did you experience any issues running it ?

Thanks XhenEd, a very informative reply.
Based on this I will be giving it a spin around the block.

Thank You Myriad,
I noticed you ran this within a Win7 environment, was it a 32 or 64 bit format ?

64-bit in my case .
I don't have a 32-bit Windows rig at this location .

Anyone trying it on a 32-bit machine , please post here .... thanks :)

I can't really see a problem though ..... many , many programs actually run as 32-bit
even if they are on a 64-bit machine !
