Linux Lubuntu noob in need of help.

Gonna try to get some old Windows games I used to play installed since this laptop is too slow for a lot of stuff.</p><p></p><p>Last night I went downstairs and dug out some parts from my desktop that died due to bent motherboard pins. I found a guy through fb marketplace that was selling a Intel 1155 motherboard. So I jumped on it and went and picked it up. Got the motherboard off of his for 75$. Its ASUS Sabertooth z77 motherboard to go with my i7-3770k. I had a ASRock z77 Extreme 6 I was using. Thats the board that died on me. I got everything cleaned up slapped it all together and put Linux Mint Cinnamon on it. I have to say Linux Mint is the $h^t. I really like it a lot. I'm still leaving Lubuntu on my lappy though until I can get as much as I can memorized and get more comfortable using it. I'm going to be using this setup as my Linux gaming rig for now.</p><p></p><p>Today I also put in an order for some new PC parts. I'm going to be building a new desktop PC solely for gaming. I will retire the other two for general tasks and learning. I ordered a AMD Ryzen 3 3300x CPU, MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, and 16gb or DDR4. I already have a nice case for it and the rest f the hardware laying around to finish it when I'm done. I got a Switch 810 case, Swiftech watercooling loop, an SSD for the OS, a 7200RPM spinner for games and programs, 2 AMD HD7970 video cards, and a Corsair AX850 platinum rated PSU. I can't believe how many motherboards and CPU's that were sold out due to this whole coronavirus crap. I must of went to 20 different places looking for CPU's and found one site I never heard of that had one. I decided to check there for the motherboard. It was out of stock but I ordered one as they are getting them on the 22nd. I hate playing the waiting game lol. Well, I'm off to get some sleep.
