Hey guys, I see a lot of good quality discussion goes around here about what anti-virus is best for what type of protection! Lets create a list, and rank the famous antivirus based on their efficiency, we all can post our personal lists and then can assemble all and generate a compiled one

the problem with compiling peoples opinion is that it becomes democratic.

You can ignore bitdefender because of performance issue that it causes

1 - Avast! <== This is what I am using now (PUP + Heuristics set on High + Hardened Mode set on Aggressive)

I won't ever reccommend McAfee, Bitdefender, or AVG. Avira is okay but I didn't like it too much. I've used all antivirus on this list. Kaspersky was excellent but degraded performance on my computer.
