Not receiving calls/notifications on MacBook Air

Checked "Allow notifications"
Checked "Allow notifications when the display is sleeping"
My work laptop which is a MacBook Air M1 is not receiving MS Teams calls or notifications when the display goes to sleep. Does anybody know how to set it to receive calls and notifications?
Here are the current settings.
I tried with "Allow notifications" checked. But still no luck.
