This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

thanks, really appreciate the help. Is there a time frame on the tool? I run it and it will restart my comp but after that nothing, I get no log on my desktop or anything?

ok, so per your instructions you just said to hit "fix", I never did a scan, so I did that and it gave me some logs, when i run the tool and just hut fix, I get nothing. I attached the scan logs, let me know if I did it wrong and I will try again, thanks again,

Last night it didn't appear to be fixed but I had to run into work and didn't get a chance to test it. I'll report back later today when I can get on.

Just following up. I'm sure you're busy but did you get a chance to look at my logs?

I think it was happening when browsing but a friend helped me change some settings and now the popup doesn't happen but I don't think it got rid of it, just changed the address it was pinging?
