This could happen..but it will only have a temporary effect,I'm sure that the MBAM Team will find a way to protect their product from this action. My fear is that mbam will become the next penicillin. Over used so much resistance towards it will grow and malware will evolve to keep from being removed by mbam.
MBAM has to be the best on-demand scanner ... high detection rates and easy to use. but the developer must always find new ways to improve it .... They should learn from history : If you remember Spybot was also a great program and now....well , who is using it?

Well for now it seems that if a product dies a new one comes into play. I'm not that worried and for now Malwarebytes is doing just a fine job for me
