What's new in version 6.8.1.0 (10.02.2022)

- Improved: The logic of disabling unauthorized rules was changed to update the rule description instead of the rule name to avoid repeated rule creation as a result of different rule name.

- Fixed: The programs executed from Tools tab can be used for privilege escalation. For standard user accounts, these tools will prompt the UAC dialog so that only administrators can launch them with full privileges.

- Fixed: Creating new rules for files with empty file description creates new ruleswith an empty starting space. These rules can't be modified from WFwAS.

- Fixed: Icon from profile switch notification is not the correct one.

When is this program going to strip the god-awful malwarebytes gui, and return to the minimslist gui used in 5.4? I assume since malwarebytes no longer owns it there are no legal issues in doing so.

Apparently they are still one and the same. I read about a year ago that they were seperate again, or at least I thought I did. Damn This newer gui/branding sucks, that's why I'm sill on 5.4.1.

Hi !
Can I put simplewall with WFC ?
or it's two different ? Because, simplewall and WFC works with Windows firewall...
Let's compare the Windows Firewall to a chicken.
It can be thought of as a choice between frying and stewing. In other words, "fried" or "stewed".
You can choose whichever you prefer, which means you can enjoy the best of the ingredients.🐔🥚
