Hi

Please rate my setup. Last know malware was ofc some non intrusive spyin cookie :p

I was wondering about adding two on-demand scanners to my config, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool is on my eye, maybe Dr.Web or Comodo CE ? Can you tell me, what is the best way to improve my config ? I want to be safe, no porn, no torrents, just well known sites.

I do not want any backup programs, cause it's not my basic computer that Im using everyday. I just want to have well secured second system, where I can do some shopping or other business things, just in case :)

Thanks

Guys, can you answer to my questions about on-demand scanners and let it go with Bitdefender please ? :)

Use hutmanpro and Mbam, eek is unnecessary. Bitdefender isn't halfassed like most people on this forum imply, I used it for quite some time last year and it was actually good. Try qihoo 360 internet security if you're unsatisfied using bitdefender though.

Edit: after reading your configuration thoroughly I would definitely make a switch to qihoo, along with zemana you should be protected against most threats and it's gonna be lighter too. (qihoo uses the bitdefender engine along with a bunch of other engines).

If you are using Bitdefender for its Detection Rate or Bitdefender Protection than i would say there are many AV which are far better than Bitdefender.

oh, so MrExplorer, many security programs using bitdefender engines just for fun if there is, like you said, far better engine than BD ?

Okay then. Emsisoft is unnecessary unless you're cleaning an infected computer so I'd remove that. Zemana is also inessential given the fact that bitdefender blocks keyloggers.

I didn't mean to say that, Bitdefender Engine is the best Engine but there are AV's which provide Protection far better than Bitdefender.
Best Engine cannot make a product Best.

imo, still that borrowed engines cannot be proportionate to the orginal one otherwise BF itself would be useless and would base only on Lending engine code

ICY, I need some HIPS that I would use to monitor my system when using it

No offences but I feel you have too many security software installed which would otherwise eat your resources and slow down the system drastically. Also too many options could act contrary to one another.
