Does it run directly from the downloaded executable?

Yes it does, but it also add realprotect.exe to Autorun entry(maybe because of disinfection purposes?). You can also change GTI(Global Threat Intelligence) sensitivity. Actually i dont know how effective Stinger is to remove stubborn malwares.
