I only now had a look at it. Have you ever used the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool? Short: MRT. Just click Start -> and in the Run box type "mrt". The differences between MRT and Microsoft Safety Scanner are minimal when it comes to the interface. However, the Microsoft Safety Scanner includes a full database of signatures, unlike MRT that only removes certain malware.

Yes also MRT are making updates every month came like April 2011 then the next update in Windows Update will be May 2011.

The Interface seems exactly the same except for the name, good thing that the Safety Scanner uses a full database...
