If there is no change log then there might have been a small changed to the program ;)

WOW v4 is out. I think MS should provide a unified interfae for MSE and the Firewall. Windows Live One Care was alos good. MS should have continued and imporved it instead scraping it out.

I think that was because people went for other alternatives like Avast AVG and CO-MO-DO.

Only type of changelog:

This update to Microsoft Security Essentials is part of the standard product update release cycle. This service update contains product enhancements to improve performance and user experience. We have improved on Microsoft Security Essentials’ Automatic Remediation, which will automatically quarantine highly harmful threats without prompting the user to take action as well as minor bug fixes in set up, malware remediation and other areas.

Well I never really thought that the performance on Microsoft Security Essentials was that bad. Would of been nice maybe to see a webguard then performance and user experience updates.

Agreed. Something that they could and might consider is that since some of the other free antivirus have a web guard of some kind, it might be worth putting one in MSE. Then it would be not just relying on an AV signature.
