MikeV current security set up

Very good config! :D

UAC enabled will give you an extra layer of security, without need to install anything ;)

And add a simple backup solution like a cloud service, as dropbox or hubic, to preserve your most important files :)

I too am a believer, and attend The Church of U.A.C.;) It's true, and works much better than chicken soup!!:):D
I also prefer Chrome, and extensions I prefer
for security are:
  1. An encryted password manager/generator that is amazing, called LastPass https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lastpass-free-password-ma/hdokiejnpimakedhajhdlcegeplioahd
  2. A Java Script Blocker that's also similar to NoScript for Firefox (..my wife hates somewhat less!) is ScriptBlock (..which won't block websites you mark when out of the sandbox) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/scriptblock/hcdjknjpbnhdoabbngpmfekaecnpajba
For Privacy:
  1. Similar to an add blocker, a successfully well known tracker blocker is Ghostery https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ghostery/mlomiejdfkolichcflejclcbmpeaniij
  2. Based upon members' experience & comments from this thread http://malwaretips.com/threads/adblockplus-or-adguard.28224/ , I've been trying AdGuard, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adguard-adblocker/bgnkhhnnamicmpeenaelnjfhikgbkllg and I like it!
  3. Zenmate https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zenmate/fdcgdnkidjaadafnichfpabhfomcebme works similar to a VPN (virtual personal network) by masking your true location by encrypting your browsing.
I liked your configuration too, thanks for sharing it!:)

Advice 1: Enable UAC. If you do this, your PC will be safer.
Advice 2: Install a firewall. Windows's firewall is weak. PrivateFirewall or Comodo is greater than WF.

Those pieces of advice are important, even if you are using Sandboxie.
However, you have a good config ;)

Useless for Windows 7 / 8 . Or, instal Windows Firewal Control or Windows Firewall Notifier :) (Windows Firewall Booster)
I don't think WFC or WFN are so good. Thruthly, Windows Firewall is better on W7/8, but is still a basic tool.

Advice 3: If you have Emsisoft, Hitman and Malwarebytes, you should delete VirusKiller portable and replace with Emsisoft Emergency Kit, being also portable.

Windows Firewall Control is a nice little tool. I'm using it BTW.
