Need a light n solid antivirus !!! Plz help...!!

Hi guys..!! Been on this forum for quite some time now..!!

I wanted you all to suggest me an antivirus software that is light on the system....!!

I've tried avast 7 and it sucks on my PC, Eset has got HIPS issues and win defender 4 is a memory hog... And big names are like so much protective that they don't even let the "user" run a specific program fast on his/her PC...!!

Guys could you suggest me something.... I just want a fast n light software that will protect me from viruses that try to break into my PC ....

And it's not like I go on clicking every other link that pops up on the net.

You could try AVG free or Comodo Internet Security.

If you do use ESET, disable the hips if you don't like it.

What is light on my system might not be light on yours, bear that in mind

I had installed ESET but the HIPS didn't work... So I removed it...!!
AVG slows down the startup and has many false positives...!!

Hey, if I'm not mistaken then you are an ESET user as well...!!
Can you help me out with the HIPS problem... Thanks BiozFear...
