Need help with removing fff5ee malware

Help Help. I discovered yesterday that fff5ee is the cause of my computer problems of late. I have been unable to download any programs that remove it, because fff5ee has changed my settings to prevent it. I keep getting the error message "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded."
What can I do to be able to download something to remove it. And can someone please recommend what program I should use to remove it?

Had same problem. Under Internet Explorer / tools / internet options / security - I noticed that my internet security setting kept being changed to a custom setting that did not allow downloads. Hope this helps.
