Question New Extensions/Add-ons question

When I am looking for a certain feature in an extension, I look on reddit (with Google search "site:reddit.com + search query") and see what users are saying about it and also read reviews on Chrome store. I usually avoid using new extensions with low number of users.
Minimizing the amount of extensions you use is also a good safety practice in general because you don't know which one of them might go rogue in future.
