Completely new member here (never lurked) found a link to the forum from another website recommending the best websites for people interested in learning more about cyber security (as a potential career).
I am a 31 year old Heavy Diesel Mechanic and I’d like to change careers. I am interested in learning more about Cyber Security as a potential option, I am competent with computers but only have a surface level knowledge of how they work, but as I grew up with them I am usually able to pick things up without much trouble.
I’d like to spend the next year learning as much as possible and would like to come up with a plan of attack that will make this next year of learning be as effective as possible, what that plan looks like, I’m not exactly sure yet.. but that’s why I’m here.
