Yes, malware samples are shared, & they can be very damaging. Hence the warning signs! So, proceed with caution under the wing of one whom can ensure you are properly armored, bullet proofed, & protected!

Haha.Yes, you can, but please don't share DOS malware unless someone asks for them in the malware requests.
