NextDNS vs Adguard DNS

Which one will you choose between these two and why?

Nextdns has 3 or 4 servers in India, the nearest server for adguard is in singapore. So for the time being I am on board with nextdns. Apart from that I feel the UI of nextdns website is less cumbersome and a bit more easier to understand.

When you are not using the more powerful rules of AdGuard by adding your own, NextDNS offers more malware protection, but as Brahman explains the availabilty of servers nearby is the primary reason to choose a DNS.

I find Adguard DNS the most reliable in the SW USA, even better than Quad9 (which has a tendency to time out). I used Next DNS for ad blocking with an account but found too many FPs.

The 'all or nothing' approach of ad blocking on DNS level isn't ideal. The more granular ad blocking on browser level is preferable.

It's not all about ad blocking, it also provides secure dns over https, protection from DNS rebinding, protection from DNS spoofing in the event of a compromised wifi access point or a system. Ad-blocking based on browsers is good to have when you want to removes annoyances or block ads on YouTube like websites, it doesn't protect your entire system/network.
