Can confirm it works. I have not yet ran into an issue. But I will check tomorrow by opening work related websites.

I also noted that their own DNS filter has a lot less rules (I thought in the past it was 1Host), but it has less rules now than Hagezi Lite or 1 Hot Lite

I use ControlD Family. Is there an equivalent on NextDNS for that? Have not tried Next as I believe it got monthly query limit.

NextDNS has a family filter, and yes, it has a monthly query limit for the free version.

You get 300.000 resolve requests per month. That is normally enough. I switched to Cloudflare Zero Trust in the past, because I ran out of my monthly free cap. I always thought it was because I was researching stuff for making lessons, but it was my ISP web based TV client which was the cause. It pinged video fragments ahead, so when the (look ahead) requested for it, it could be served fast. Because video fragment pining is also used for tracking many filters block this. When DNS did not resolved, that lookahead mechanism started to increase ping rate. This is a valid stutter prevention mechanism.

I discovered this when adding Hagezi Light to my adblocker, the resolve count dropped from 35K on an evening to 3,5K, so I am back using NextDNS again.

Indeed, I use it on PC and phone and I get around 200k, even without Cache Boost.
Still, it is possible to cheat, it is 300k per email not per device and they do not enforce it.
