Troubleshoot No Sound on Ubuntu 14.04

No Sound

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

install updates and nothing has worked .

Hello to all the MT's users! This day decided to install on my old computer Ubuntu 14.04, Everything works great except the sound. I has searched solution but I can't find anything to help me. Someone here could help me please?

Try to check all the things like the drivers and using Alsa Mixer which commonly solution for this no sound problem.

I reinstall Pulse Audio and all then work fine.

sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio
sudo apt-get install pulseaudio

Thank you for the links was really a great help to me, Sorry for delay in replying but the work did not allow me to respond quickly.

The problem was solved, the Audio now works fine and everything is going great, Its my second time using Ubuntu but now on AMD/ATI, before i use Linux Mint with Intel . Thanks again!

Thank you, I use first links @jamescv7 and works well, i only use on my VPS CentOS and never use the audio there . Thanks again mate for the help!
