I happened to come across a piece of software called NoID Privacy. Has anyone here tried it yet?
It looks like a privacy-oriented browser extension/service, but I can’t verify its effectiveness or trustworthiness from the site alone.

A cautious way to evaluate it

  • Check whether the developer clearly identifies the company, jurisdiction, and support contact details.
  • Read the privacy policy and terms carefully, especially for data collection, telemetry, and account requirements.
  • Look for independent reviews or technical analysis from reputable sources, not just testimonials on the vendor’s site.
  • If it is a browser extension, review the permissions it requests. Broad permissions such as access to all websites can be normal for some privacy tools, but they also increase trust requirements.
  • Submit the installer or extension package hash/URL to VirusTotal for a basic reputation check. That is not proof of safety, but it can help spot obvious issues.
  • Test it in a non-critical environment first rather than on a primary system or main browser profile.

What to keep in mind

  • Many privacy tools make broad claims that are difficult to verify without independent testing.
  • A clean scan result does not prove a product is safe or effective.
  • If the product is new or not widely discussed, the lack of community feedback makes confidence lower, not higher.

Practical conclusion

I have not seen enough verifiable information to recommend it with confidence. If you are considering it, the safest approach is to wait for more community analysis or independent reviews before using it on a main device or browser profile.

I do not like the claims made regarding third-party antivirus programs. They are portrayed as if they were solely signature-based—which is simply false. Most programs also employ heuristic analysis, behavioral analysis, reputation systems, machine learning/AI, and so on. In my view, a company that employs such misleading arguments is not trustworthy.
