And we have our first Youtube test for NIS 2012 Final :

Uploaded by danielbonev on Sep 7, 2011

I like the fact that NIS 2012 now fully supports Chrome , and I've tried to install Norton Safe Web Lite on my Chrome browser but apparently Symantec didn't update yet this tool.

Additional Requirements
Must meet minimum operating system requirements for Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Win7
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, or Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or higher
Internet Connection

Well actually a giveaway like "Norton Internet Security 2012 for 90 days" which they do on their 2012 version. So probably no 90 days since its a newly released.

A note to people who are downloading a trial.

I downloaded from cnet and got version 19.0.0.128 and had to install a bunch (42) of updates.

The most recent version is 192.1.0.28, which can be gotten from Symantec UK

And Softpedia: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Firewall/Norton-Internet-Security.shtml

So avoid cnet for the moment.

Just updated NIS 2011 to 2012 have 341 days remaining on my original two year 3PC NIS 2010 license. Not sure what will happen in the future but have been very happy with NIS since day one. Oops need to change my 2011 banner:idea:

Those "Fun extras" are a letdown. The themes have very minor changes. Oh well.

Probably Safeweb was compatible to Firefox 6 and not in minor version of 6.0.2.
