So Symantec are finally bringing Norton 360 in line with the rest of the Norton family? Always found it a bit odd that 360 lagged behind NAV and NIS and didn't receive the new engine until a few months down the line.

:) Yep! Norton 360 is part of rest of Norton family from version 2013! :)

Great News :) Norton 2014 Beta is on it's way....

Norton 360 version 6 is not using same engine as NIS2013 :)
Norton 360 Version 2013 / Version 20 / is using same engine as NIS2013 :)

You can't be sure that Norton will release new versions every SEPTEMBER :)
 
I think we may expect implementation of ThreatFire in new Norton products since from 18th of May PCTools will not be supported anymore by Symantec.
I have heard some quiet voices saying sandbox... sandbox... sandbox...
Shhhh... let's wait...
 
Threatfire = Sonar behavior protection (Similarity and may integrate before that expiration)

The only difference is that TF have ability to configure itself for high protection while SONAR is simple with default actions.
 
i wish the mods would leve fourm post be i hate it when they move fourms in too other fourms that dos not go with fourms that am talking about mods next time i make a fourm about some in leve it be plzs not sure why my fourm was moved in too this fourm has this fourm has noting two do too what i was asking about
 
Are there pictures of norton 2014. I did a google search and found nothing regarding norton 2014 picture wise.

Public beta should release screenshots, don't expect anything earlier -unless leaked.
 
However leaks are potentially faked or false alarms as Norton does have its policy for beta.

GUI may tends to be made by some users as suggestions like before for 2013 or 2012 maybe.
