is it my VM or the context scan of Norton is very very slow...?

Well I'm not sure on how fast those Norton scan from context but its matter of hardware preferences on the result may vary.

yes, it scan a folder full of malwares at max speed 2 -3 files/sec when others like EAM or CIS will do around 10-20+files a second...
