My dad used to keep using Norton for over 8yrs. However, he stopped using it about 4 years ago as Norton could not be updated smoothly. Then he switched to my Kaspersky Total Security. He tells me Norton has a better performance than Kaspersky but KSN runs well and its detection is more accurate and stronger and FPs are fewer. Now Kaspersky looks like a heavy weapon though is becoming lighter but Norton is like an old soldier who lost exclusive skills though it used to be deft. Arms he has a lot but he doesn't know how to use them at all and no more I have been using NGAVs and EDRs recently. In many ways, they are better than traditional solutions like Kaspersky and Deep Instinct would be my favourite. But Kaspersky also takes the lead in many traditional ways. I do think in some specific situations, Kaspersky maybe a better choice even better than NGAVs , BitDefender and ESET. Back to Norton, whether V24 will be similar to the impression that my dad has? Probably not. Just keep in remembrances
