Same it's privacy friendly
Secure yes, private, not sure. It was funded by U.S. Secret Service, City of London Police, France National Police, France Ministry of Justice, amongst others, but what puzzles nem how much they are trying to hide it (like adguard that it originated in Russia). Sure, it is listed somewhere on their webpage, but it was designed by privacy loving governments, still lurking in the background.

You can't hide from the government and nice that they make good use of criminal asset forfeiture
It's more like privacy against companies rather from governments

I'm playing @ErzCrz's version of AV ping pong. Installed Bitdefender Free, because it's the very best AV in the world, as proven in this test. The best, until the next 'best' comes along.
Hehe :D I'm trying to be a little less ping pong this year and with CyberLock's new Smart Firewall (effectively FWH) I may even get away without WFC or the overkill CF. We'll see how it goes but it quite funny that it's a thing that I ping pong between setups :D

Not gonna lie. I am very picky when it comes to AVs. Something pretty much always bothers me. Installed Bitdefender Free on my girlfriends laptop and it just works. 👌

Indeed, I may keep it around for a while.
interesting, I've tried to like BD but has always seemed "buggy-slow" to me and I uninstall it within a week or two. I ran a Bitdefender Box with my previous router for about 1 year!, but IIRC BD pulled that project, but vague about that. I had a Box 1, then I think there was a Box2, but never a Box 3... PS Box 1 was a pain in the ass to setup.
