Oppo is reorganizing its smartphone division, reportedly ending sales and operations for OnePlus in the United States and Europe as soon as this week, according to a Bloomberg report cited by BetaNews.

The report also states that OnePlus plans to wind down in China and India by 2027, marking the end of the brand that launched in 2013 with competitively priced Android flagships. Additionally, Realme, another brand owned by Oppo, will exit the Chinese market.

The restructuring is linked to ongoing challenges caused by the global memory shortage, which has increased component costs across the smartphone industry.
