Optimizer Pro - I may have complicated things for myself....

I found Optimizer Pro on a list of programs and deleted it. The symptoms persisted and I looked up a guide on this site to remove it. According to the the the guide I should have uninstalled it. I am beginning to suspect that doing one does not accomplish the other. My system is not allowing me to uninstall OpPro. It elicits an error message saying that it cannot locate the program. Do I need to reacquire this PUP to remove it? I uploaded the FRST, aswMBR, & Addition TXTs just in case they would help.

Hi,

Go to Control Panel and uninstall following:
- MyWordTool
- TidyNetwork

Restart your PC

Then...

Download attached fixlist.txt on the same location as FRST (otherwise the fix won't work)

Open FRST, and click Fix. Attach me that report after it is finished.

Then...

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • After the scan has finished click on the Clean button.

Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.

  • After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S0].txt) will open automatically.
  • Post logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.

Thanks for getting back to me so promptly, but what do you mean by "Download attached fixlist.txt on the same location as FRST"? Is the location the path or... Sorry, I may need a little hand-holding on this.
