Good afternoon,

I represent the OSHI Software team.

I'm sorry that your virus has not been detected, but would like to clarify whether used full scan or quick? Was enabled Cloud scanner upload? With the disabled Cloud Scanner upload old viruses recognition quality can be reduced because we are on the market only since 2013 and some old signatures may be missing

I would like to clarify that we are neither rogue nor junkware, and closed whois data means absolutely nothing. But I will talk to the leadership, and I hope it will be fixed. Also our software dont have any detections include Avast. I think your Avast screenshot just care about all unknown EXE files. You can check it on virus total

In any case, thank you to pay attention to our products

Hello,

Your antivirus has blocked nothing malware which I submit in this test.
I activated everything and the DNS

Oshi Defender has never notified me in real-time if the file was infected or not.
I immediately launch a quick-scan but Ransomware launch and block the system.

Something else to add to the suspicious list:

When I read @xxtoss23 's post and saw the image (also published in @xxtoss23 's post) I raised a suspicion. I checked myself and got the same:

"Built-In Unwanted Toolbars and Search Tools" for Free? Nope. As long as you stick to the developer's site and use Unchecky, plus always be aware, I think you'll be fine. "Support" is also Free sometimes (for Avast at least), Emsisoft, Bullguard, Qihoo 360, etc. also have Multi-Engine, and Panda Cloud Free is also cloud-based. I didn't use OSHI Defender as my VM is on the broken desktop, and I don't dare to try risky stuff without a VM, but it looks like something weak in terms of protection if they have to rely on false advertising. Another thing: Brand Antivirus isn't always $49.99. ESET is only $39.99 per year and Avast Pro is only $19.99 per year. I might be wrong in terms of protection, but it seems kind of a bad main antivirus to run on. I will use it for a companion AV if it is very light, though.

manzai, I would like to investigate the issue, but need to spend it through our support system. Can you send more info to the email investigations@oshisoftware.zendesk.com, if possible with the link where our anti-malware lab's staff can download the archive of this malware

Chromatinfish 123, Avast Pro US price is 39.99 USD (http://www.avast.com/en-us/pro-antivirus), but I do not want to argue on this topic. In the table only the averaged data without any specific brands and it can really varies

Thanks for all comments
