when i ping to my router, i get 5-10% packet data loss....is that normal....or is there some problem with my laptop or router....below is my ping statistics when i ping to my router

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 96, Lost = 4 (4% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 5ms, Average = 1ms

P

Plexx

Several reasons for that:
Channel congestion (switch channel)
Faulty Network drivers (reinstall drivers)
Faulty Hardware (router/network card)
Fault Router Firmware (restore or update)
