I don't know about these video's but i saw it detected about 89 items... i'm no specialist :) but i can say the free version is the same engine like paid, only with less features.
I also got my hands on a 6 months license but i'm not sure to install or not...

So this is a rename of Panda Antivirus?

Yes its a new name and av line

  • Panda Dome Advanced (formerly Panda Internet Security)
  • Panda Dome Complete (formerly Panda Global Protection)
  • Panda Dome Premium (formerly Panda Gold Protection)
  • Panda Dome Essential (formerly Panda Antivirus Pro)

Let's be honest mekelek, you're looking to find fault with Panda products no matter how good they are and even before you've tried them. Even if it was the best security suite ever you would still complain about something.

Out of interest, is there anything you like about Panda Dome?

It goes with the territory on forums.

I suppose I should mention Application Control and Datashield are both Anti-Ransomware technologies.

It may have a good Firewall, but the rest of the protection (n) days ago I did a quick test with it, and it was swallowed by the threats in the package, of 20 samples it detected 5, the 15 made the party in processes in memory and keys created in autoruns, maybe someday someone from the testers team will use it in MH, I did not test because I'm testing G Data and maybe start with Avira or BullGuard soon.

avira is gonna be a boring test and bullguard is gonna be a disappointing one.
i installed it on my VM, i might do it just for the sake of proving my point

I just tested Free version of Panda with malware pack from yesterday and it did a nice score - protected ( )

UPDATE:
It looks like it didn't so well but not so bad.
I'm sorry for wrong decision posted here.

I will post video test later in this thread.

That's odd. The lab guys are having excellent results, especially with the Data Shield and Application Control set to Deny. Our results are more in line with AV Comparatives (and @Av Gurus results), where Panda has had a strong showing in recent tests.

Now Firewall testing, it's performing far above almost anything else on pentests.

I really noticed what you said, Avira is really complicated, looking at BullGuard here, it takes a lot of time to move or repair on-demand scanner threats, in addition to the Bitdefender signatures, which seem to be well overdue.

Wow, this is news to me, if you have availability, you could post to the Hub to see the details (y)

@ForgottenSeer 58943 , @Av Gurus, I did the test now with the latest samples, and as I expected, Panda made it ugly.

Test with this malware pack?

I just see that you post a test:

I'm recording video about that malware pack.
Will post it here when finish...it's a bit different results then yours but is not clean/protected like I said in previous post.
