So while downloading stuff online i accidentally downloaded something with a ton of malware. For the most part i believe i got most of it but i am now stuck with potentially two rootkits that i can't seem to remove. I have tried using malwarebytes (which is my current antivirus), search and destroy, and gmer. But none of them spot the rootkits. I have also disconnected my computer from the internet which seems to have stopped most of the issues the rootkits appeared to be causing. Both rootkits are in appdata > local in a pair of files i can't access in any way. Which were installed on the 04/14/2018. Anyone able to help? I can provide more info as needed.
