Hi!:)
I'm in Bondi Junction in Sydney.
It's a 4g modem but no full coverage yet,so on 3g at the moment.
Using this modem with an aerial from Optus.

NB
Some of the speeds here, especially Denmark are unbelievable!
Sadly, Australia is falling behind, and needs improvement in it's broadband capabilities!

jamescv7 with this speed you have more than 5K posts at MT,hats off to you.

I think with this speed you can only surf this types of forum which requires less speed than that other naughty ones :p

RE: Connection Speed Show Off!

Spirit: This is my based percentage on the 5k posts.

75%-80% are my post where I'm in Riyadh before having 4 Mbps connection.

The rest of percentage would be the speed where I was in the vacation last year and currently from now as permanent stay.

;)

Beside of annoying, the router itself has been filtered from most certain websites but the bad thing is Updates from Windows, security application and etc are included in prohibition.

Youtube with related from online videos are blocked too as part of the deal through ISP.

To be honest I didn't shop around, as I was already a Sky customer I just upgraded my net with them. It cost £50 setup fee and £30 a month.
