Implement some type of system & data backup solution. Both Macrium Reflect and AOMEI Backupper offer good free options.
Consider backing up important data to an external drive also.
Have you considered upgrading to Windows 10?
Consider an additional on demand scanner(s).
Consider uBlock Origin,HTTPS Everywhere and Privacy Badger in Chrome.
What program Defrag program do you use?
Consider a password manager.

KIS is an excellent product but please consider that Windows 7, due to its own infrastructure, will never get the same security updates released for Windows 10.
So, if you can, it would be better to migrate to W10.

Add MalwareBytes Free or Norton Power Eraser.

Replace Adblock with uBlock Origin.

Add HTTPS Everywhere.

Follow suggestions about backups, it is really important also in case of infection.
