Privacy Extension
Provides Privacy for Chrome
Privacy Extension gives you control over the data exposed by your browser.

Clear cookies, databases and local/session storage for the url in the active tab and its embedded resources (e.g. frames, images, scripts).

Prevent browser and canvas fingerprinting by restricting exposure of header fields (Accept, Cookie, Referer and User-Agent) and JavaScript objects or functions (document.cookie, navigator, Canvas.toDataURL and window.name).

You may also set your own refer(r)er or user agent. This fields and your cookie settings will be propagated to both: header fields AND JavaScript.

Please note, that disabling cookies and JavaScript entirely is one of the most effective measures to limit the entropy for fingerprints...

Click&Clean - Add-on for Firefox
Official Website: Click&Clean Add-on for Firefox
Mozilla URL: Click&Clean – Add-ons for Firefox
Instant cleaning and easy access. You can delete your internet history with just 1-click on Click&Clean icon in the Firefox toolbar. The Click&Clean menu lets you quickly access the preferences and additional features, such as Privacy Test; Incognito (Private Browsing); Permissions Manager; Cache Viewer; Cookies; Close All Tabs; Close Other Tabs etc.

User friendly interface that can be easily used by novice and skilled PC users alike. The preferences are separated into several well-organized sections described below:

Clear Private Data - at this section you can adjust the default cleaning settings, such as Clear Browsing Data; Clear Browsing Data when Firefox closes; Ask me before cleaning private data; Time to display prompt.

Also, you may access additional cleaning options. Click on "Clear Now" button, then select time range to clear and choose what type of private data should be removed: Browsing & Download history - Form & Search history - Cookies - Cache - Active Logins - Offline Website Data - Site Preferences.

I've been using it for a long time.
I did not have any problems.

Yes, but it also completely destroys browser's experience. I have tried it several times, but always rolled back, since it was unusable.
Yes, you're right TairikuOkami.
That's why we have anti-script extensions, which selectively disable JS, eg. not on the same-domain, but on third party domains...relaxed settings which defend efficiently! ContentBlockHelper, ScriptSafe, Script Blocker for Chrome... and too Policeman, Policy Control on Firefox and FF forks.

EDIT:
..and RequestPolicy and RequestPolicy Continued on FF...

This one: SingleClick Cleaner extension/add-on, home page: Cleaner · Introduction
(But on chrome and forks, to clean new tab, use native 'clean browsing data' feature, cause this extension don't clean new tab thumbnails with your visited sites)...

Click once and clean browser cache, history, stored data... it's your call. Use the settings page to select what you want to be auto-cleared. Then just click the toolbar icon. Currently the app can clear:

  • cache
  • cookies
  • download history
  • file system
  • saved form data
  • app cache
  • browsing history
  • indexed db
  • webSQL databases
  • local storage
  • plugin data
  • saved passwords
