I wish more providers offered a free tier.there are a lot of students and people in 3rd world countries that need security and privacy. The places where Vpn's are needed most i.e 3rd world countries with authoritarian/military dictatorships are the people who can least afford Vpn's/Security.

Didn't know about hide.me, knew about Proton. Instead of limiting servers they should just offer enough bandwidth like Windscribe do. I think they offer 10Gb or 50GB? Don't remember.

I think they do. As far as I know, there are no data caps. But they do limit your speed, to what I don't know. Also, there are only 8 servers that allow free use. Read this.
