I've already have a lifetime license [purchased it two years ago] and the amount of modifications you can accomplish with this is worth it. One of the features I like is their Process Watchdog module in which you set a rule to a process [use 2/4 cores when a process utilizes x amount of the CPU, for instance] then it will trigger that command. But the main focal point of this app is to make your system responsive when the CPU is under high load.

I also forgot to mention that you can disable core parking or adjust it which would essentially unlock your CPU cores to use their full power. On my laptop, it is set to 100% - disabled. There's a noticeable performance boost when under strenuous tasks like compressing/archiving or video encoding.
