I can understand the reason to not enable it at default. Apparently pup detection isn't enable in order to protect the company from any legal accusation, at least that's what I read on Emsisoft forum, I assume the other AV companies do the same.Yes, but you need to check it. I don't know why it's not enabled by default (Avast dose this too, I think every AV should have PUP detection by default).

I apologize. I should have worded my comment better to avoid confusion.
The only thing they share is that both use the bitdefender engine.No, when I said "What's the problem with Emsisoft?", I wanted to say if Qihoo is using licensed components of Emsisoft, in this case, PUP blocker.
I want to know if 360 Essential have PUP blocker or it's only for 360 Total Security?
