KIS has so many settings to play with that Qihoo does not even come close. Use interactive and set application control to high restricted or untrusted, and it's a tank. KIS also has Trusted Applications Mode which is default deny whitelisting, and this type of protection is used in corporate IT infrastructures. It's blacklisting and whitelisting. KIS also has screen locker protection too that is used manually with a combination of key presses to unlock screen. KIS has a roll back feature that can roll back malware actions, and Kaspersky has been one of the best at cleaning infections. Add in the highly rated firewall, and KIS can be a beast.
Sure Qihoo is free, and if I could not pay for PC security I would use it myself. Plenty of discounts on the net popping up here and there, and KIS can be bought cheap. Some tmes for free with mail in rebate.
