Finally, after waiting for so many SD iterations, my wish is being realized

The mentioned SD 8 Elite for mobile is supporting 8K@60fps for recording and playback

Video Capture 8K@60fps is now available with the current SD 8 Gen 3. As for playback 8K@60fps will arrive with the SD 8 Elite

The USB-C port on the phone would need to support DisplayPort specs to output 8K@60fps to the 8K TV/monitor. There are available mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 adapter and active mini DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter on sale now both supporting 8K@60fps

One thing the SD 8 Elite FastConnect 7900 Mobile Platform did not mention is how many WiFi antennas is supported ie.2x2, 3x3, 4x4 etc

In the SD 8 Gen 3 the FastConnect 7800 Mobile Platform it mentioned that the WiFi supports 2x2 antennas

Dying to upgrade my SAMSUMG S24U now

Would have been best handheld gaming device if it had native gamea unfortunately you are stuck with mobile games but as mobile is a huge market and hardware keeps getting better I'm certain we will see PC ports

Xiaomi 15/15Pro and OnePlus 13 just announced use the SD 8 Elite CPU but the video recording is still 8K@30fps. Although the SD 8 Elite supports 8K@60fps recording and playback implementation still depends on phone manufacturers...........guess they are not ready yet

Quite disappointing

I hope the upcoming SAMSUNG S25 Ultra with the SD 8 Elite will have 8K@60fps recording and playback. The current SASMUNG S24 Ultra only supports 8K@30fps recording
