I remember when Eset NOD32 was written in assembly so the GUI was an after thought. It was a giant Red Button that you pressed which would iniate the system scan and the button would pulsate as the scan was being conducted. I also remember the Kaspersky Pig Squeel, I used to have a nice surround sound for my PC, I had the volume up and forgot to turn it off. I let the system conduct an overnight scan since it would take a while....at around 2 am I am woken up by a giant pig squeel.You made me remember my era when I became interested in security. Was a big fan of ESET. This was in 2010, and this was the GUI.
