Hello there,

For a few days my mozilla firefox browser has been hijacked by malware. Sometimes when i try to google something in the search/URL bar of the browser, i get redirected to search.yahoo. Also when i open google.com a small bar appears on the top of the website. This seems to be part of the website and not a tollbar in the browser. The third problem is that i get random pop ups when i click on any websites.

I have tried the obvious things first: Firefox settings, delete extensions, check for any programs installed. I also run a couple of malwarefixers. I believe they are called adwcleaner, UnHackMe and hitmanpro. My antivirus check with 360 Total security didnt find anything as well.

I can't remember installing any programs on my system only the extension uBlock origin which is offered by mozilla i think, also this was a few days before the first problems occured...

I dont know what to do any more. You are my last hope.

Win 10 64bit latest updates installed
Firefox version 58.0.2

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english
Matt

I cant edit the post because it contains inappropriate elements. So ill post the screenshots here

I just installed malwarebytes version 3.3.1 and scanned with this program but it didnt change anything as well.

Hello,

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.
