Hi all,
Well I described in details in the above fields what exactly happened and what I tried to do.

Right now I am on this pc, using MS edge, and I have internet and all seems fine. But all is not fine - clearly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling chrome by the way. I reset browser settings several times and I have no extensions other than google's own (google docs, google sheets etc)
So I am wondering, how to fix this.
If I scan, every program says there is nothing on my pc. But If I use chrome, things just die (after quite some time). I'm considering just living w/o chrome but I mean - how can this not be fixable :(

Sorry for the long texts - I really searched this forum and tried all I could find. But I just can't solve this on my own it seems. Help is very appreciated.

Hello,

FRST.gif
Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I did the fix and attached the file as requested. I'm right now in MS edge but I'm opening chrome too to test if it should all die/freeze again.

Well it's been running since I posted and no freeze yet. However, after I fixed something it always seemed to work for a while. If it still works tomorrow in combination with my game, I'll crown you the solver of my problems :)

It just happened again now. I'm in my game. Stuck in loading screen (that's how I usually notice). And chrome is basically non-responsive. I have not yet restarted the PC. I am writing this in MS edge (which seems to work, earlier not even another browser would work). But could also be just be beginning of the "dying" and that's why MS edge works. And soon all is gone. :(
So still same issue.
